miracle meds

Yes indeed, the Metronidazole has already worked wonders. No more squirts for the itty bitties! Everyone has gained weight, and although they are not to happy with me about giving them the Metro, they have a short memory.

Halicy is tired

Dot showing off her lip-liner and o course, her "dot".

I am probably going to take Sierra back to the shelter this week, so she can get on view before there are a ton of kittens there, so she has a better chance of getting adopted soon. I just checked the site, and there are no kittens on it yet. That means Sierra will get more looks. If you know anyone who would love a nice, maybe 2 or 3 year old cat, who is fine with other cats and she doesn't seem to be afraid of dogs, let me know! She is a sweet girl, and as you can see, beautiful.

Sierra hopes to get a new forever home sooner than later.

medication...

Took the Itty Bitties to the vet today. At least 2 of them have liquid diarrhea. Saw Halicy and Dot use the box, and they both were pretty messy, so hopefully, the Metronidazole will make quick work of the poop issues. Dot also has ear mites, so they all will be getting treated for that too. Fun stuff. Plus, they all got started today on Panacure, for round 2, so they will NOT be happy with me for the next week.

Looks like the Metronidazole did the trick over at 50kittens too. The Bottle Rockets look like they are past their vomit and poop issues.

Other than that, all is well here at Itty Bitty Central.

More playtime with Dot and Sage

see saw see saw

Well, Dot is back to her 2 steps forward, one step back deal. She lost weight again. Not sure what's up. She is fine otherwise, and I watched her go at it with the other 4 as hard as anyone. I did give them all some KMR tonight mixed with a can. They all loved that.

I spent a good amount of time cleaning the kitty room tonight. I am hoping again that we have the whole litter box thing down now, but I am sure there will be accidents. I think I may have to add a third box.

They decided they like the dangley toy. Kelsey went after it with abandon! Poor Dot couldn't get a swat in edgewise. She did finally get a couple swats in with Halacy, and by herself when the others were occupied with something else.

Joy ran the vacuum in the hallway, and there was some freaking out, but only for a minute...except for Hogan. He was really scared. He hid under the supply cart until it stopped. He did eventually come out.

I thought Sierra was done nursing them, but looks like I was wrong!

elephants running

I have noticed the Elephants are louder and louder. When the 5 itty bitties get running, they run hard! I hear the thumping all the time now a days.

Today, the itty bitties got some out of kitty room time. They did the usual, and ran up and down the hallway. Hogan was funny, he was guarding the door to the room, and was doing the sideways hop as everyone was running by. He did eventually come out and check out my office, with all of his sisters.

Hogan guards his "room" while the girls are out.

Buck came up to see the running of the kittens. He is pretty indifferent for the most part, but he hissed at Sierra. Not sure what that deal is. Kelsey was a little freaked. I saw Hogan run in my office, and Buck was in there. Hogan stopped cold, and poofed out. He was frozen. I finally went in and picked him up and brought him out. After a couple of seconds, he thawed out, and was back to normal.

Kelsey meets Buck.

Can this guy be any cuter?

false alarm

I figured Dot's weight loss was a fluke. She is back to gaining. All is well in Itty Bitty Central.
Nothing new to report, so, more cuteness!

Halicy practices her kitty skills by attacking my foot.

small weight loss

Dot lost a bit of weight in the last 2 days, but I am not too worried. Could be a fluke, or I misread the scale last time. Either way, I will weigh her in the morning, and see what's up. She was sure romping with her siblings tonight, and eating, not acting sick.

Dotzilla!

The rest of the gang are all gaining normally. Lots of romping, and elephant noise today. They have all figured out how to climb the kitty condo, and were all asleep on it this morning when I went in to feed breakfast. Tonight, as they were winding down, they all wanted to climb back up to go to sleep. Well, except for Kelsey, who climbed up on my lap to sleep. I put her up on the condo, and she immediately fell asleep. Didn't take long for the rest of them to join her.

Hogan mixes it up with Sage, who is mixing it up with Sierra's collar.

Sage and Kelsey crash at the end of the day.

Kelsey poses. She is a princess.

goin' with the flow

The Homies are coasting. Everyone is gaining weight, all are over the one pound mark, and all are pooping normal. Yes indeed, the poop is a good indicator of any issues that are brewing. Mama Sierra had some issues the other day, diarrhea and vomiting. She vomited on the new clean towel I had just put down, then she walked over to her food bowl, and puked right in it. She is back to normal now though.

The itty bitties are chow hounds these days. They go through 3 cans of food a day now! Sierra might eat a little of it, but she likes the crunchies mostly, so they are splitting 3 cans between the 5 of them. They are growing fast. I can hear the elephants regularly now. They romp hard already, and it is only gonna get louder.

Dinner time at itty bitty central

Having a visitor tomorrow, so I will rush home to make sure the room is as clean and "fresh" as it can be. They do seem to be better at hitting the box now. I haven't seen anything on the floor today, and only one place yesterday. Hopefully, those days of missing are behind us.

Got some good play shots, I think. Sage is the first one to do the "Catzilla" to her sister. Haven't seen that since the 3 black kittens, Mia's 3. Makes me laugh. Unfortunately, they were too fast, and too close to get that shot.

Halicy takes advantage of a prone Kelsey.

Dot. Something a little scary about that face.

Hogan takes a quick bath.

Sage eyes the ball. The chair rungs seem to be a kitten favorite place to play.

Kelsey looks a little wild eyed.
