In May of 2005, we decided we should try fostering kittens, to ease the pain of the loss of one of our cats. We lost Pepper on a Saturday, and 3 days later, we got a call that there was a litter of 6 orange tabbies that needed a foster home. That was when it all began. The title may make you scratch your head, but I was always amazed at the amount of noise these tiny little kittens can make when they are playing. From the living room, it does indeed sound like we have elephants upstairs.

Late post
We worked outside in the heat all day today, from about 8:30 am until about 3:00 pm. We built a small retaining wall in our front yard. I just got it in my craw, and I wanted to do it myself. So, we did. I think it looks good! We will probably add more to the edge, and bring it around to the steps, but I think it looks pretty good already.
When we got done, we went to MD to have dinner with Joy's sister. I took some shots of her 2 not so itty bitties that we pretty much foisted upon her. She loves them, and they are too sweet for their own good! Yoshi comes when you call him like a dog, and loves to be held. He is a face licker. Cute, but a bit painful!
The crew here are all doing well. The little ones are not too concerned about Bentley. They are actually curious, as is mama cat.
