heading out of the nest

Big first steps out
The Who's are starting to explore! They don't go far, but they are starting to venture out. They are also interested in what Cindy Lou is eating.

They do have teeth, and they know how to use 'em! They bite the crap out of each other! They squeal all the time, and I turn around and they are biting each other. I can't remember a litter that made this much noise, and that fought so much. They are either a tough bunch, or a bunch or cry-babies. I haven't decided yet.

One thing I did find interesting. Most times when I get a reflection in cats eyes from the camera flash, I can't fix it with the normal photoshop red eye tool, because they aren't red, they are green. These guys all have red eyes in the flash....except for Martha May, the tabby. I wonder if that means they will have blue eyes? I think they will.

Smack down
More  Stooges action

I checked the shelter's website, and Gadget is no longer listed. I haven't heard back from them, but I sure hope that means he was adopted, and not in sick bay.

That last photo is the cutest thing on the planet! It's so great to see the little fuzzball grow and develop.

Give Cindy Lou an extra skritch for me -- I always feel tons of sympathy of the moms!

I do think they will have blue eyes, because my siamese cat has lovely blue eyes, and when the light shines on it,it has a red glint

Awww - how cute are the Who's ?!
Cindy Lou you have done an excellent job! When does Boz get to check out the "cry-babies"?

I forgot to say - try some bach flower remedies in Brett's water. they help calm and reassure. at worst they do nothing at best he relaxes and becomes a little more social and trusting and playful. YOu can look the remedies up on line, i'm sure or you could pick som up at a health food shop...

Hey there! Sorry it's been so long since I've been by to comment (but not read... been keeping up via Reader).

Well, I'll join the chorus! My goodness, they are amazing little critters! The fighting cracks me up. You've had a lot more litters but there's been at least a pair in each of mine that seemed to wrassle 24/7 (OK, sleeping excepted and then they cuddled with one another). Maybe the vocalization is just the oriental kitty thing?

Hey Lita. I think you meant that second post for Ted and Martha over at 50 Kittens! ; ) I actually live very close to them, maybe 2 or 3 miles. I have used the bah flower remedies. They are pretty high in alcohol, but I was told they even work topically. That's how I use it.

As for Boz meeting them, I am not sure Cindy Lou would appreciate that just yet. When they get a bit older, and Cindy Lou is less worried, he will get to meet 'em. Buck and Bentley too.

And yes, I do believe the siamese in these guys is the catalyst (no pun intended) for the crying! They are quite vocal little ones. Thankfully, all are asleep right now, so I have a bit of peace and quiet!

excuse my delusion! yes, i read up on my favourite kitty cat blogs each morning and for some reason i thought i was still in 50 Kittens land! and when checked to see if they got my comment just now i wondered where my suggestion had gotten to. must be 'cos i'm a goose! And yes, you can just pat flower remedies on their wittle heads and they will still work - being energy medicine and all. some days...
